The On Nut Urban Forest Park case study highlighted the need for guidance and a decision support tool for assessing former waste dumps and industrial sites.
RUCaS is working with the Department of Pollution Control and a diverse group of Thai stakeholders to progress site risk guidelines for brownfield development.
A workshop in February 2025 had the following objectives:
- Share guideline structure and content and seek feedback on individual guideline sections
- Build foundational capacity
- Undertake site visit of On Nut Forest Park with an Australian expert in site contaminated land and site remediation as part of considering possible next steps for the site.
