International and Regional team members led an environmental monitoring workshop with local stakeholders in Luang Prabang (Lao PDR).
The trip had the following objectives:
- Lead a training workshop on environmental monitoring in to build capacity for national partners to collect local evidence on the benefits of NbS (rather than continue to rely on international data) – Luang Prabang (Lao PDR)
- Initiate an environmental monitoring program to improve data availability and decision making about green and blue spaces – Luang Prabang (Lao PDR)
Additional meetings in Thailand included:
- Convene the Thailand Technical Working Group meeting – Bangkok (Thailand)
- Conduct a workshop and activity planning for site risk assessment guidelines – Bangkok (Thailand)
- Meet with Landprocess and Porous City Network – Bangkok (Thailand)
- Meet with the Urban Design and Development Center (UDDC) – Bangkok (Thailand).
